Ethiopia Sidamo Abeba - Roasted coffee beans.
Ethiopia Sidamo Abeba - Roasted coffee beans.
If you prefer a well-balanced and flourishing, African coffee with notes of sweetness and acidity, then this might be the coffee for you. Buy the coffee beans roasted, medium roasted or dark roasted and brew them either as filter coffee, in a plunger jug or perhaps as espresso-based coffee
The rich volcanic soil provides the coffee trees with all the nutrients they need to develop a typical cup profile. In Sidamo, coffee is grown exclusively by small farmers. At an altitude varying between 1,550 and 2,200 meters, they harvest about 37,000 tons of coffee annually on a total of 70,000 hectares. As the producers are very small, they are dependent on their families and employ almost no harvest workers. Sidamo Abeba is an exclusive type of coffee we have developed in collaboration with our team in Ethiopia. Abeba means "flower" in Amharic, and that is what you can expect - a flowering cup. Incidentally, the cup is well balanced with notes of sweetness, acidity and a fine body to complement this exciting taste.
The washing station places special emphasis on sustainability and has introduced its own pricing mechanism, where traceability, quality and sustainability are rewarded through prizes. Their sustainability assessment method includes environmental, social and financial criteria that ensure an overall approach.
